This movie is fucking stupid.
Then again, I might (according to some) have questionable movie tastes, as I also think the following movies are fucking stupid: all of the Lord of the Rings, the Goonies, Star Wars (old and new), The Princess Bride, and The Hangover.
Am I leaving any off?

AHAHAHAHAHA! I am with you on Joe v the Volcano; it is fuckin' stupid.
Two movies I really love, which also supposedly have cult followings (although I am not sure these are the same cults) are "So I Married an Axe Murderer" and "Donnie Darko." The former is the only Mike Myers movie I find funny and not obnoxious.
But then again I like Lord of the Rings and I like science fiction in general, so Star Trek and Star Wars are mandatory viewing. So I am sure my taste is suspect as well.
Wow - I didn't even realize this movie HAD a cult following! I remember going to see it for my...I guess it was my 11th birthday...and thought it was stupid then.
Other "cult classics" I hate: Dazed and Confused and The Big Lebowski. I also can't stand the whole Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy thing.
Lord of the Rings - I think its kinda ok, but I am unable to comprehend all the rave reviews from people. For me it was more like '1000 ways to lose a ring thats in your friggin' pocket'.
Although I am not a big fan of science fiction, one of my cult movies is The Matrix (only the first one though)...
Another classic for me and my friends is Coming to America (but the French translation...it is probably the only movie I am able to watch in its translated version).
