N.A.: Oh, really? I wonder who sent it to you?
UR:
N.A.: No we didn't. When I asked you if you were getting me anything for VD, you said no. I didn't say anything.
UR: Sneaky, sneaky.
Yes, N.A. is quite sneaky. He is also very romantic, so it all balances out. I hope you are having a great Valentine's Day / Singles Awareness Day. What are you doing to celebrate? Fancy dinner? Couples massage? Girls' night out? Running a super snazzy assay?

<-- super snazzy assay
debated whether or not I should bring flowers to the lab, but decided since my proteins likely wouldn't reciprocate
Making a chocolate cake to share this evening. I'd offer you some, but with your chocolate record, I wouldn't dare ;)
Ethidium bromide: yeah, proteins are such terrible partners. :(
ScienceGirl: Ha!! Darn, I really want some cake now!
UR, I think you'd better step away from the chocolate! Although virtual chocolate will be okay. I'll have some, too. Please. ;)
EtBr: hahahahaha
Husband presented me with a lovely Valentine's day card of the Shoebox variety (funny stuff) and I gave him some Reese's peanut butter cup hearts. That's pretty much the extent of our V-Day celebrations.
So UR what was in the package?! I *heart* packages
Jenn: In the package were (Silverfox will love this...) chocolates and chocolate-themed PJs!!!
N.A. knows me so well.
Mmmmm chocolates......I spent the day analyzing data and working on a baby quilt. But I might get some clearance chocolates for myself today!
Chocolate-themed PJ's... may have to google that to see what they look like.
We didn't do anything special ValDay - MOH working nights. Just exchange of cards. (Forgot to answer yr question!)
Loving the chocolate themed PJs. mmmmmmmmm.......
