grading timeout

I have dragged my pile of grading and prep work into my cave. I have a stockpile of chocolate (dark, milk, and white) and enough coffee to power a small village (if you gave it to hamsters that ran on wheels that generated electricity for the village).

I will return soon.

Hopefully to announce that my grading is done, and not just to beg for donations of truffles or brownies.

Speaking from a strictly non-teacher point of view, I always thought grading looked like fun! At least, I always wanted to see how everyone else answered the questions! lol. I suppose it gets slightly boring after a while.

Happy Grading.

Hee Hee. Don't envy you at all. I do NOT miss grading at all.

Let me know if I can send you some chocolate!

Ooh, I hope the chocolate lasted. My least favorite thing about teaching so far is grading those horrible 10+ page long formal lab reports. I shudder thinking about it. I've got two weeks until those come in...

Happy grading, at least the chocolate sounds good! It always bothered me when I took time to write comments or give suggestions the undergrads never even looked at them and sometimes made the exact same mistake in future work! GRRR! If I take time to write feedback to about 120 people you would think a least a couple would bother reading it! Your students sound much better though.
