freakin' ANTS!
I already feel like I'm half assing both my professional and personal life. If I'm working too much, I'm not at home enough. If I'm at home with N.A. and Puppy, then I'm not getting enough work done. What a cycle.
And now, ants. Tiny, mobile reminders of how half-assed my housekeeping is.
At least I have a few weeks before my summer students start marching back in.

The ant post hit the nerv -- I have a freakin' ant Metropolis in the yard..
find something with linalool & permethrin in it. works pretty well. (i discovered this after finding an ant colony residing and breeding in my car midway through a cross-country moving trip!)

Don't blame yourself. Its the season for them to migrate to a better home. Yours. Besides, it is probably NA's fault.
In addition to the chemical suggestions, first clean the paths they were using as carefully as possible.
