Campbell's has a commercial that tells you to "bring some happiness to work."
I don't know about you guys, but we're barely a month into the new semester yet I'm already exhausted.
May seems a long, loooooong way off. (Because it *is*, I suppose.)
How do you suggest I bring a little bit o' happiness to work?

Chocolate - very, very nice chocolate.
I run on coffee and adrenaline. Very happy, very fast moving, and friendly. When I lose my fix, you don't want to be near me. :)
Next week I'm teaching aspects of metabolism using swimming pool noodles (the foam ones ...neon colors) that should bring a smile or two to some faces.
What Alyssa said, in the afternoon. But I am fortunate to have a colleague who always brings a smile to work first thing in the morning, and that smile is contagious.
Every time I boil my kettle for tea, I do a quick tour of adjacent desks to see if anyone else would like any of the hot water for their own cuppa. Does that count? :)
This idea has been ruminating in my head for the last week, ever since I first read this post. I'd have to say that bringing happiness to others yields happiness for the self. So, when I bring a cupcake to the admin who loves sweets, the good feelings and good will abound. Or even a compliment or a smile, as noted by Dr. Pion, can make the difference. And when all else fails, there's always Starbucks.
